This building in Lighthouse Street is currently used by Maritime Safety Queensland for storgae of equipment to maintain navigational aids in the region.

Adjacent to this building stands the original Flagstaff, re-sited from the foreshore for preservation.

At the corner of Hampson and Lighthouse Streets near the coconut tree, sites where the 3 high-set Queenslander-style homes of the Pilot, Coxswain and Boatman were located.
