The foundation stone for this Church was laid 6 August 1939. although notably not on former Pilot Station Reserve land, but land gifted by Mr Christian Mittleheuser.

This Anglican Church is listed on the Cultural Heritage List of the Burnett Shire Council's 2005 Draft Plan, stating "The structure is an axcellent example of an intact 'Old English' revival style church, and the only remaining one of its type in Queensland".

Services are still held here, at 7.00 am every first and third Sunday of the Month.
